After being a writer and editor for more than 10 years, I wanted to further explore my creative side. So in 2007, I bought a digital SLR camera
and started taking landscape photographs for fun.
After becoming familiar with Adobe Photoshop, I decided to also learn the art of graphic design. I do love design, but my passion is definitely photography.
My clients range from a local law firm to a condominium owner on the island of Maui to a local hairstylist,
as well as couples, families and expectant mothers who want engagement and wedding photos, portraits and maternity photos. I also like to take photos
just because -- for no reason at all -- and I jump at the opportunity to join a photo challege (check out my blog for the 30-day adventure and weekly inspiration images).
I always feel honored when someone wants to make my photograph a piece of art in their home.
Because photography is my passion, every session with me is a tailored and personal experience. Whether your session is 30 minutes, one hour or longer,
I will work to connect with you -- and try to make what can sometimes be initially awkward a fun and rewarding experience. My goal with everyone is to create an
overall session that becomes comfortable and ensures the resulting photographs are of high quality, are artistic and are truly professional.
